Maybelline FIT me foundation comes in 12 shades. But in India it comes in 6 shades. Ivory (115) which is suitable for fair skin tone, Warm Nude (128) suitable for fair skin with pink undertone, Sun Beige (310) - This shade is suitable for wheatish skin tone and I am reviewing this shade further. Maybelline also come with shades which are suitable for darker skin tone. Natural buff (230) is suitable for slightly dark tone with yellow undertone, Warm Honey (322) and Toffee (330).
Product Review :
Maybelline FIT me foundation comes in a glass bottle with black cap. Bottle shape is sleek. This bottle is travel friendly. I personally think that bottle should have pump packaging. It becomes easy to use bottles with pump pacaging. Bottle contains 30ml of product.
Shade I have bought is Sun Beige (310) which suits me perfectly as I have wheatish skin tone. Also as it claims that this foundation is for normal to oily skin. My T zone (which contains forehead and nose area) is oily and cheek area is slightly dry than T zone. As I have combination skin and there are not many foundations available for combination skin in market , I was excited about this this foundation and now I have used this foundation for almost a year and I am happy with this product from Maybelline. Also it hides imperfections and gives smooth finish. I do not recommend this foundation those having oily skin.Because then it might end up looking oily on your face as the hours go by rather than dewy.
Texture of foundation is smooth and light. It blends perfectly with medium coverage. Medium coverage is perfect for full day application. Foundation is light weight. It doesn't feel that you are wearing foundation. It gives all natural look. Basically it is a liquid foundation. But the texture is perfect,not too runny nor too thick. It does not contain oils or waxes.
How to apply Maybelline FIT me foundation :
I generally apply and blend it with fingers. It can also be applied by make-up brush or make-up sponge. Texture of foundation is great so you can use any method for application. Only single coat is sufficient.
Staying Power :
Maybelline FIT me foundation stays on me 6-8 hours. It keeps my face matte. It does not oxidize at the end of the day like some other foundations. I am happy with staying power of this foundation. Also as it is a matte texture foundation ,though it does not dry my skin. It moisturizes the skin.
